I don't have active acne from last 3-4 months.
I have these products: Sebamed Cleansing Foam, Lotus Herbals spf 40, Glomed, Triacneal, Kaya night nourishing cream and Cetaphil moisturising lotion (when I feel extra dryness)
I want to target dark spots, some pits (I will send you the photos of my pits) and general brightning-tan removal of face.
Please suggest me new products, and chalk out a regime for me. (I don't wish changing Lotus Herbals sunscreen though! ;) )
Sebamed cleansing foam is not necessary since there is no active acne.
You know I suddenly remembered my kaya doc suggested me Depiwhite for marks when I was undergoing peel.It contains Hydroquinine, Lactic acid,Kojic acid and Vit C.How about including this in your regime? It will take care of dark marks as well as pitted-acne scars.
Other options with lightening+Vit C are Clearz, Kozimax. I wouldn't suggest facemed cause it has salicylic acid, which I don't think will go well with Triacneal.
This is what I think your regime should be:
Morning-Kaya Soothing Cleansing Gel+Sunscreen +Kaya Night Cream+Moisturiser if required.
Afternoon-Re-apply sunscreen if necessary.
Night 1-Kaya Soothing Cleansing Gel+Triacneal.
Night 2-Kaya Soothing Cleansing Gel+Depiwhite/Kozimax.
After few weeks you can stop Triacneal given that acne is taken care off, opt for higher percentage of Vit C.
Lotus is not my personal favourite but only if you are sure that it is bot breaking you out then you can use it
Unfortunately topical applications can only do so much. Micro-dermabrasion and Derma-rolling will help a lot !
Hydroquinine? seriously? what percentage? Is it safe for acne prone skin?
And see the irony, I just got one pimple on chin (first in 3-4 months) I guess, I will retain Sebamed. I have used Clearz cream. it is actually a "cream" and broke me out.
Can depiwhite cause pimples? It is prescription based btw? And is Kozimax acne-safe?
And thank you, I will go for Kaya Soothing gel.
And did you forgot that I am a guy ? :) Sunscreen + Kaya night+moisturiser! :D Ha ha ! Lol! :D Just suncreen is also a burden for me, but still do it regularly! :D
Hi Akshay..Ofcourse I know you are guy The reason behind inclusion of Kaya night cream is because Azelaic acid which will help with Hyper-pigmentation.Its was just my suggestion, you can skip if you feel its too much.Moisturiser only if you see dryness or flakiness since you are on Triacneal, actually I can do without moisturiser.
Depiwhite is available without prescription. I don't remember the percentage of HQ.It is okay to use it for few weeks.HQ helps with skin-lightening. I used this and 2 more forms of HQ in the past.Actually I used one HQ gel for dark circles as well.
Clearz broke out ,okay chuck this then.As of now Kozimax or Depiwhite sounds like a better. I will see if there are any other feasible options.
Sunscreen and others a burden too but we got to take care of ourself right specially since we are blessed with oily and acne prone skin
I am using Kaya Soothing Cleansing Gel with Epiduo, both are very good.
Will depiwhite/Kozimax break out? Hope not... Depiwhite is hell comedogenic...
Don't search for anything new to confuse me! But yes, aren't there any vitamin C gels? Except the dr reddy's capsules? Too costly!
That's what I told you before reduce Triacneal since acne is not a issue now.I would say keep Triacneal on weekends and Kozimax for other days of the week.
Kaya can be applied on day/night,so no issues.
Sorry to bother you again and again, as if you don't have other work! But if triacneal is used on Weekdays, it will be for 2 nights. If on weekends, it will be 3 nights :D
Anyways, Thank you for answering everything!.
And we need a Thank you smiley too! :D
