Dryness in winter

ashu6074
Friends,

In winters, face washes, acne creams make skin very dry, stretchy and irritated.  I am using "Neutrogena moisturizer for combination skin (without spf)" and "sebamed clear face gel" but it gets relief from dryness temporarily.

Specially feeling more dryness near above and below lips area. Is anyone feeling the same issue and what moisturizer you use for this winters :)

Thank you,
Ashu

Hi Ashu..Some time back I was saw these Acne videos..As we know acne treatments like accutane,BP,retinoids etc can cause dryness/peeling..Most of the users suggested Cetaphil OS Moisturiser..
Here is the link
http://www.cetaphil.com/products/dermacontrol-oil-control-moisturizer-spf30
I have heard some great reviews about it so check it out..It is non comedogenic as well..

Second option is acne.org moisturiser which you could easily buy in US
http://store.acne.org/single-items/moisturizer/16-oz-moisturizer-with-licochalcone
Non comedogenic..It has some good moisturising ingredients..

Last option :Some also mentioned Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion
http://www.cetaphil.com/products/moisturising-lotion

Personally I am just using Aloe veda Aloe vera gel, does the job for me..I am also using it as a hand cream at nights..

Hi Ashu. Neutrogena is current choice in winters.I am using it found it to be sufficient for me.
DJ as suggested some great options, look into that.
Other than that I was gonna say Cetaphil moisturising lotion.

Hi Ashu.
I used Olay moisturiser but it makes face very greasy and shiny within few hours.
So I dropped it and went for Aloe Veda,so far I am liking it
I haven't tried Neutrogena yet, plan to soon. Its not available in Mysore

@DJ - Thank you for the links. These products really looks promising. I searched aloe veda aloe vera gel in India. I didn't get and it was out of stock online on most of the site :(

@Arpitha - thanks Dear for your reply. No doubt Neutrogena moisturizer for combination skin (without spf) is good one but not good enough when the temperature here is -9C  :-D

@Shwetha - Honestly i dont use Olay face products but i like their body washes :) By the way you can get "Neutrogena moisturizer for combination skin (without spf) " online... Thanks :)

Hi Ashu for some reason availability of Aloe veda aloe vera gel is a issue despite being in demand..
You know when in stock I end up buying 5 bottles cause I know within few hours it won't be available

Ashu by the way I don't know if you are familiar with Exposed Skin Care, they are a huge hit in the US..They are like number #1 acne treatments, beats all other brands like proactiv, murad and all
http://www.exposedskincare.com/
I bought their kit from Ebay so that I can review it ..
They do a have good moisturiser, check it out..
http://www.exposedskincare.com/acne-treatment-products/moisture-complex.html
Their products are damn good ya Ashu and ofcourse it is non comedogenic..
The credit their success because of unique blend of ingredients like green tea ,vitamins and other exotic extracts which benefit acne prone skin..

If you want I can upload a pic of the moisturiser for you so that you can get an idea on the product..
