Hi Friends,

Do we need to apply sunscreen when it is cloudy or raining outside. Please advise.

Thanks,

Hi Ashu, welcome welcome its been a while

Excellent question I must say  (hehe I love these emoticons, cute little guys)

The answer is yes. Sunscreen has to be inevitably applied on cloudy and rainy days too.Its a common myth that sunscreen is not required on cloudy/rainy days but UV rays reach earth's surface on cloudy rays too.

The reason being is Ultraviolet rays can penetrate pretty much any surface. One might not necessarily get tanned but skin damage is possible.

One is susceptible to sun damage sitting inside tinted car windows, sitting near windows and standing under shade too. So a sunscreen is must!

Hi Sangeetha ..

Suncote is SPF 30 that is sufficient for Indian weathers. I use it on my face and body.

SPF 50 is for swimming, sport activities and for folks for who are outdoors for a long time.

SPF 15 is sufficient for indoors.

Hey Priyu,

Thank you very much. I am happy with Suncote as I am mostly indoors but would love to try other one when I learn swimming.

Most non cosmedogenic sunscreen are so much costly. Can you recommend me any good one? Especially to be used when one goes out for trekking or swimming.
